Canelo should have just fought Trout on the undercard if he had won then he could have gone after PBF next. It would have made for great TV especially after PBF's fight he would have gotten into the ring and called out PBF. He was in no position to dictate terms to PBF, that's the point in all of this.

Canelo should have stayed on the card. Better for his exposure and popularity. And it would have forced Floyd to confront the fact that he is a cherrypicker if Canelo wins and then says now I want to fight Mayweather like Floyd promised me. Then if Floyd does not, Canelo proved Floyd ducked him.

I agree. Canelo should realize he is not in Floyd's level at the moment. Exactly what I think.

Because Canelo might lose? Floyd doesn't fight people coming off losses (well, besides Zab haha)

Well that's one of the things I was thinking; Garcia/Judah, Matthysse/Peterson, or move Lopez/Maidana, or if Canelo doesn't even fight Trout, Trout vs Lara would be good at 154. Remember we had Jessie Vargas as undercard on previous fights. Guerrero popularity is probably similar to what Ortiz was. We'll see.

They better make the fight on 4/20 with Trout. If they do, nobody will complain about this move. If they don't, wow. How blatant of a duck can you do?

Well, Cotto/Trout did pretty good numbers on free TV so I'm expecting Canelo/Trout would be a great move.

Not a bad way to start out his PPV career, fighting a legit champion at his weight. Let's just hope it happens.
