Sept date still seems unlikely for a Floyd fight...
When was the last time May had fights this close together?

A well placed RG headbutt could thwart all designed plans.
    But back to the script...

Yup Alvarez/Trout deserves Main Event status.
But considering this will be one of the final say maybe 3 fights left in Floyd's career I understand.

if the cotto fight is any indication of current floyd, i dont think mayweather has more than three fights left and for him to waste one on guerrero is pure garbage. not many fighters in the lighter divisions that rely heavily on reflexes and legs(ray leonard/whitaker/winky) are very successful in their late 30's and i dont think floyd will be any different.

he should have fought someone at least the caliber of bradley or kirkland.

canelo/trout should be on its own card. i would actually pay for this fight by itself and would never, ever pay for floyd/guerrero.

i would be you right now that floyd does not beat a top five ranked boxrec.com opponent after the age of 40.

hes not going to look good agasint guerrero and i am going to bet robert at the open probably at +400 at pinnacle.

and then im going to middle it here in mexico when floyd goes off at -200 to 250 come fight night

He has to. Mayweather promotions has a long way to go. And we know thats what Floyd really wants to do is promote and he'll need A LOT more money to be a success.

and what does that do with who should be the main event? Canelo vs Trout is just a fight FLoyd vs Guerrero is an event
