Trout was shorting way too many punches, for me to consider it a robbery. I thought it was a bad decision though. Trout definitely outworked, and out landed Canelo by a significant margin. Trout's problem was the lack of power. He would pity pat Canelo with insignificant shots every round, then get blasted with three or four hard, stiff, showy punches. You can't fight the Mexican star in Texas, and win a decision like that. In my opinion, Trout needed to get a little closer, and put a little more mustard on his shots to make them more noticeable.

    :deal

No conspiracies about the ****, Canelo the better boxer, what happened when Trout turned around and fought Lara? Trout is a gatekeeper.

Canelo sparred with Trout and Mayweather vs Canelo was a frustrating sparring session for Canelo. No "beatdown" no "ass-whooping" like some would have you believe.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

come on man, you can't be that bad at math

    6 rounds to trout

    5 rounds to canelo

    1 knockdown for canelo

Means what? Thats an even fight

The fight was not a robbery, but the scorecards were robbery. The first 4 rounds were robbery (when we already knew there was distance on the scorecards when there shouldn't have been). The result wasn't all that bad, but the scorecards were horrible.

Trout says he feels that he didn’t lose his fight against Canelo earlier this year. He initially agreed that he lost, but after watching the fight on replay, Trout felt that he either won the fight or it should have been scored a draw.

Had Trout winning a close fight. Given the magnitude of the fight and what was at stake Canelo got the benefit of the doubt in close rounds.

No , but it wasnt a clear win for Canelo either.

Canelo gets way too much credit on here. Biggest wins are Trout, Mosley and Rhodes????
