Del La Hoja does whatever he can to promote and protect Canelo. Canelo is his cash cow. He doesnt have much big time stuff going on other than Canelo. I do not think the problem is Canelo himself. It's the team around him that are going to do everything they can to protect and give their fighter the edge. The sanctioning bodies today do not control the game. The promoters do.
