What’s next for canelo... obviously the sky is the limit? Will he pull a Pacquiao and go for the wbss winner and then go for Joshua or usyk ?

Why not? He can beat Manuel Charr, take his bogus WBA "regular" belt and claim he has become a heavyweight champion of the world. Just like he did with Rocky Fioelding and the same belt in the SMW division

    Damn. Could Canelo beat Charr?

I want to say No... But I'm not really sure of anything anymore.

I mean, Kovalev beating Charr wouldn't have sounded that insane.

I guess No though. Heavy is still almost 100 lb away from light heavy, and Canelo going light heavy was nuts already.

Past prime James Toney easily beat prime John Ruiz. Toney was former middleweight, he was about the same height as Canelo and Ruiz was millions times better than the best version of Manuel Charr, let alone this one - after absolutely brutal KTFO loss to Briedis, bad injury in shooting incident and 2 years of inactivity.

I'd favor Canelo to beat Charr. Seriously

How it is a stab at Canelo? Don't your consider his claim about being super middleweight champion of the world ridiculous?

then why not address that point, when its the topic of discussion. you quoted me answering the question whether canelo should fight the winner of wbss, or josh and usyk. you decided that was a good opportunity to bring up canelos bogus belt and his claim to it. wtf did my post have to do with that?

Because you said he won't go to the higher divisions. I thin he can (and probably will) go there and win some bogus title. You answered to OP saying he won't, I answered to your post saying he will. Simple as that

give me an example of this bogus title canelo would go after, that you felt it would be such a logical move for him, after the history you felt needed bringing up. what title is he going after?

I think he would probably think super middleweight is where he’s best suited albeit in a division with few big names.
Even if Canelo agreed to fight Beterbiev the odds would be stacked against him imo.I think he beat Golovkin fairly convincing a third time.Adrade as Canelo rightly said is boring as ****.Saunders would of been great until he derailed his career again so I honestly don’t know who he should fight to be honest.

Canelo is due another easy tune up, and then I think he fights Golovkin a third time and finally wins clearly.

To be honest I'd like him to take on Callum Smith or Benavidez.

What is so nuts about it? In his last 5 fights Canelo seemed more than 170-175 lbs. He was always a bully and won so many of his fights like this. No doubts he is skillfull but I just hate him because of his rehydration clauses.
