You can say whatever you want about canelo.

But nobody can say that he doesnt want to fight everybody. And you cant say that about a lot of boxers nowadays :nonono.

Is this before or after Canelo 2? I think G's whole 2018 was taken up by Canelo.

Right? Not to mention, who's also a huge cash cow?

Gotta laugh at these guys who always praise boxers who have title shots, or even the right fights, handed to them on a silver platter. As if they worked harder than any other boxer to secure the title shot.

I neither agree or disagree with this but it's interesting. Canelo's already had over 50 fights and the Reynoso brothers say there's another 8 fights he had in Mexico that aren't recognized. That's a lot of miles on the clock for a 28 year old (whether or not those 8 extra fights are recognized or actually happened). If he continues to take a Fielding/Chavex Jnr type of fight in between his GGG/Jacobs type of fights (and wins them) he'll be 30 years old at the time of unifying. He may move up or maybe that's when he fights Charlo, Hurd or Mungia. At 30, some guys are cooked and some have another 5 years in them. It could depend on how many wars and how much heavy duty sparring he has done and how he treats his body between bouts. As you said 5foot 8 is short for a MW and very short for a SMW. If his reflexes hold up he might still be top tier after 30. So far Canelo has improved and learnt after almost every fight. He's in his prime now, he won't continually improve much more after this.

Exactly man in fact I think he should avoid another GGG fight. Whether Canelo wins or loses that GGG fight he takes alot of punishment regardless he won't improve much after this and he's only taking more punishment . Charlo could beat Canelo in the future simply because Canelo can be to war torn ..... He needs to take it easy .....

He can go for greatness and be done by 32 or take the $ only approach and ride easy. I think Canelo wants the $ and the glory. He may get both. He may retire damaged. Either way, it'll be interesting to see what happens.

From September 2018. The GGG fight. December 2018. Fielding fight . May 2019 Jacobs fight. And next September 2019. That means he would of fight 4 times in a year ...

It also depends on his contract he has eleven fights he has full fill with dazn Fielding is one. Jacobs is two. He barley going on 2/11 fights by the end of 2019 he would of completed 3/11 fights and go back to fighting twice a year so he should finish by 32 yeah you're right

True. In the last few years he's fought twice a year. 4 Fights a year is a lot of work at middle. Especially given the opposition.

If you're Canelo, all you have to do is go the distance so risk of losing is massively reduced.

    No need to avoid anyone.
