Canelo was a Floyd CHERRYPICK

    That was Canelo's last 8 opponents before fighting Floyd. Garbage names and he arguably drew with Trout, who has turned out to be B level at best. It was a cash grab because silly Mexican fans threw their support behind Canelo based on his unique looks. Canelo was GREEN and DRAINED. If the fight happened now, it would be more competitive.

    On paper, Canelo deserved the Floyd fight, but Floyd definitely saw Canelo's limitations exposed by Trout.

    How did he deserve the Floyd fight? Canelo's resume was a joke leading up to it.

    He didn't deserve it. They only made that fight because the people in Mexico are crazy for Canelo and it drew large money. Floyd makes most of his money from his opponents fans base.

    They thought canelo was just to big for floyd and canelo can take over the sport by beating floyd. Thier the one that called out floyd not the other way round
