what the hell. the guy is forced to shell out bec he cant make 154 anymore.

how the hell can he press more if he is too drained at 152?

his best chance is to survive, not get ktfo.

He tried he couldn't do it. Pbf was simply too good. Pbf had canelo lost he was thinking. He can't simply throw caution into the wind and go balls out because he would have gotten hit with clean counters and missed shots making him more tired. Canelo wasn't willing to pay that price he would have gotten beaten up if he had done so for prolonged periods. You can't to that with someone with Pbfs stamina while yours is suspect it actually would've been one of the worst things he could've done.:deal

Canelo isn't that type of fighter. Was he really going to improve his chances by employing a strategy completely alien to him (which would take a skill-set he's never shown before) for the first time ever, against the best fighter he'll ever face?

"Attacking/brawling more" isn't a strategy against Mayweather. Was one training camp suddenly going to turn Canelo into a prime Duran, where he could get inside Mayweather's jab, negate his speed advantage, cut off the ring and then be able to do damage while he was inside??

Canelo did try to pressure Floyd. Canelo was asked too about this in an interview a few days ago and he said after 4 rounds of boxing, they knew they needed to pressure more.
He credits Floyd's movement though for his lack of success

And there it is, if Canelo can give him credit for the win real boxing fans should to.

A fighter can usually only fight his style. Canelo is not a pressure fighter, never has been, he's always been a boxer/counter puncher. Might as well ask Mayweather to fight like Duran or Wlad to fight like Frazier, ain't going to happen. Most of what boxers do in the ring is instinctive which has been honed through many hours of drills, you can't just throw that out the window even if you want to because it's done subconsciously.

It takes a very special fighter to be able to break their instincts in the ring and abandon their usual style mid fight or even expect changes after just 1 training camp. Canelo showed nothing against Angulo to suggest he is any different from the fighter that lost to Floyd.

Canelo showed very good snap yesterday. Look at the Mosley fight I'm sure that if that Canelo fight Mosley he will find a way to KO him. I think he realized in the Floyd fight that he has to work even harder. I think that Floyd fight was a bit too early in his career. They could've catch Floyd a bit later when he was more on the slide. The catch weight probably affected him. Anyway I think that Floyd is just too good for him but Canelo might finish to be one of the better wins on Floyd resume if he builds a HOF career.

Canelo ain't gave Floyd ****, respect is only given when it's earned, Floyd demanded and took his respect with those right hands, uppercuts. hooks and smooth moves. Everybody witnessed the respect after the fight in Canelo's own words. In Showtime's 360 Canelo's trainer even said Floyd is the best in this world and any others if they exist. Now that's respect that was earned.:bbb
