On facebook he posted a pic as well he was at 166 looked even leaner than canelo

 

Barragán, surnname from his mother, is a spanish surname, originary from Asturias region, where placed some celtic asentations long time ago.In Spain there are some redheads actually, its not the common but it's not that rare.And Canelo's father looks 100% like a typical spaniard, or typical south-european in general.

 

there are threads on the forum regarding canelos height and you would be hard-pressed to find anyone here who still believes that canleo is anywhere near 5'9". doc, his biggest supporter, now agrees that hes "2-3 inches" shorter than the 5'9.5" trout.

canelo is a 5'7" jmw and it is what it is.

toney could crack. kod nunn(never been down),holy and had jirov almost out(vassily was never the same). also, you dont go the distance with mccallum, hassim, peter, ruiz and oquendo if you dont have power. if these guys didnt respect him then they wouldve rolled him.

agree with your aa analogy. he had good success with his power against legit 160s and could not carry it to 168, which is what wuold happen to canelo at 160.

canelo has yet to show power against legit 154s and we have delusional people here talking about 160 and 168.

cant say anything bad about canelo at 154 because he has yet to fail at this weight but from what ive seen of him against his current competition he would fail at 160.

Looking at his photos in between Mayweather and Ortíz, I would say he's 5'8 1/2

Did Canelo look shorter than Mosley to you? Because to me they looked about the same height at the weigh-in and in the ring and Mosley is 5'8" 1/2.

I used Abraham as an example to make you understand that you shouldn't focus on power, of course he carried his power at 68, his first fight in the S6 showed that. The problem is he doesn't have a high level of boxing ability, which is the most important thing you need when moving up. I believe Canelo has that.

canelo is easily 5'8-5'9 but IMO I think he is 5'8-5'8 1/2

CANELO IS not 5'7 QUICY is to stupid to realize that, he could be 5'8 but he is most likely 5'8 1/2

Canelo with Cintron who is 5'10 that heigh difference made no difference if anything it gave canelo more of a body target, which is what facing trout will give him, a big body target for one of the best body punchers in the game.
