He means, he won't give up weight advantages. Nothing to do with the ggg fight, that's not him giving anything. He owns the 160 belt, ggg is the mando. He has zero say in anything.

If he doesn't agree to 160 fight, he'll be stripped of the belts. Guys aren't familiar with mandatory fights ???

 

At least Canelo is honest about his intentions of not fighting at 160 for 1 - 2 years.

The onus is now on the WBC to do the right thing and strip him.

That's how he rationalizes his loss to Mayweather. He can't accept that Mayweather simply was a better boxer on that night.

And it´s somewhat unbelievable how he is so willing to do the same thing to his opponents.
"I will fight the best" doesnt have the same sound anymore.

 

He weighed one pound less at the Mayweather weigh-in than he did at his previous fight. I doubt that made any difference. I always thought that Alvarez was c ocky as hell but it seems like his c ockiness is tempered by self-preservation.

 

Canelo is made out to be this monster.

I just don't see it. Didn't win a round against Floyd , got past a very old Shane and Cotto.

And knocks out fighters who should be knocked out.
