Didn't Alvarez suggest the 152 pound catchweight against Mayweather?

Correct me if I am wrong. They were negotiating weights, Alvarez proposed 152 and Mayweather accepted. Since it was only one pound less than Alvarez weighed in at his last fight, he was hardly put at a disadvantage. If he feels like he was disadvantaged, how sporting is it of him to insist that Golovkin take a weight cut of five times of what he took against Mayweather?

    OK, You are wrong.

Canelo wanted the fight at 154 but Floyd would not budge at anything over 152.

Again, you must have no clue how hard it is for a fighter to lose even one lb when they've already reached their limit.

LMAO at the 5X the weight bit. Nice touch:good

lol Of course Alvarez wanted the fight at 154. That goes without saying. Just like Golovkin wants to fight at 160. However, since Alvarez was the "B" side he couldn't get that weight. I think Mayweather proposed 150 and Alvarez came back with 152, which was accepted by Mayweather. I know it is difficult for fighters to go below their limit. That is why Alvarez wants Golovkin to go below his limit. I thought you were defending Alvarez's actions but if you are not, then my mistake.

Regardless of your opinion, Canelo still has WINS over Lara, Trout, Cotto, Mosley(old) and fought/lost to Floyd at 23. Not bad for an overrated 25 yr old ginger.:deal
