sorry man, but Lara wouldn't lose to Kirkland. Lara is very adept against southpaws especially when he's on the backfoot.

Who are you basing that off of?

Sloppy Paul Williams who offers a huge target?

Trout who doesn't know how to fight coming foward?

Kirkland would be the worst possible fight for Lara because Lara's southpaw stance would be a DISADVANTAGE.

It's much easier to duck and roll to get inside against a fighter with the same stance than one with an opposite stance.

Kirkland wouldn't have much of a problem getting inside, and once he's inside, he would punish Lara with body shots and shots that loop around Lara's guard.

Kirkland would beat the HELL outta Lara.

Those uppercuts Kirkland will throw will break Lara down and eventually snap his head back.

Kirkland would come forward nonstop and just walk himself into punches. He'll pop out his jab trying to get closer and Lara will counter it over while throwing his jab and overhand left over Kirkland's lead hand.

You're not giving Kirkland enough credit. Kirkland has the ability to make himself a small target.

When Kirkland throws his jab he'll come in low, which means Lara won't have anything to counter.

Lara has decent footwork, but Kirkland will trap him against the ropes pretty consistantly, and when he gets him there, he will punish Lara with body shots.

Lara will get in his ear muff guard, and Kirkland will pop his head back with uppercuts.

You see, it tends to be easier to land shots on a fighter coming in when you have that awkward distance that is between southpaws and orthadox fighters.

You have more time to react because of the angle.

Lara won't get that opportunity this time, and Kirkland will be more comfortable than a guy like Angulo who often switched his stance, because Kirkland is smaller of stature, and it's more natural for him to have that come foward defensive ability.

The only way Lara wins is by some fluke early KO.

For instance, Mayweather has a much better chance to beat Kirkland because of angles.

(and of course, Mayweather is much better and more experienced than Lara)

Krkland has zero defence. Lara busts him up, closes his eyes; TKO.
