The little wranger has used every illogical argument to avoid fighting his mandatory with Benavidez. He isn't getting younger and David, in my opinion will grind him down. Even if the corrupt judges give him the decision, he will have taken a heap of damage.

His most recent statement "I am the king I can do whatever I want" will be his fallback position.

He is the biggest fraud since Fraud Mayweather, but a much bigger one. He has avoided certain fighters, received several gift decisions where he clearly lost, and fought hand-picked payday seekers like Jermell, Kovalev etc.

A 5' 8'' boxer fighting a 6' 2'' boxer is not logical. Canelo is doing the right thing.

Benavidez is enjoying his size advantage at 168. He's bullying smaller fighters in a weight class which he doesn't belong to.

Benavidez should fight at least at cruiserweight and show if he's really a capable fighter.

Even this faded version of Canelo beats Benavidez. So many "fans" on here dont understand boxing.

People keep thinking that Canelo will substitute in for Plant or Andrade and fights will go exactly as they happened. It just doesn't work like that.

    Don't be daft

If he can't compete with others at that weight he shouldn't be in the division let alone a champion

I'm just biding my time to see what or whom they'll come up with next after he makes Dave look "off" like he didn't try......

If and when Canelo beats Benividez, the casuals will come out of the woodwork once more with many more excuses and demands.
"Benavidez was too Green, Canelo aged him out, Canelo should fight, Beterbiev, Briedis and AJ back to back" and so forth.

Why does he keep ducking him then? Soon it will be 9 fights at 168 without fighting the top opponent. He is ducking him far worse than he ever did GGG. It makes sense. GGG was only slighter bigger than Canelo, same reach. Benavidez is a different level and Canelo knows this and it scares him. He know Benavidez will likely not just beat him but stop him and fan boys like you will cry.
