This fight should be next it makes absolutely 0 sense for Canelo to fight an absolute no hoper like Munguia or the highly inactive Jermall Charlo next. He’s had 3 relatively easy fights in a row since the Bivol fight, it’s time to step it up. I’m tired of people excusing him delaying this fight, it’s what all the fans want and it’s by far the best fight that can be made at 168.

People who watch and pay for Canelo fights are below AJ fans which is low as you can go.

    That's the state of affairs

@Wizbit1013 this time I won't be wrong. Benavidez knows he will lose to Canelo. He just wants the big paycheck. Then he will retire.

Name one fighter that doesn’t want a big paycheck. The big paycheck is literally why they fight. Why do you guys think saying “ hE wAnTs PeYdEy” is some kind of epic comeback? It makes you look really childish and protective.

Canelo has a chance for his Hagler vs Hearns moment. Hagler chose not duck Hearns, who was a extremely dangerous threat, after what he did to Duran, who Hagler struggled with. If Canelo can win vs Benevidez legitimately, then he could retire extremely proud, or meybe he can cap off his career with a legendary trilogy.

Here ya go calling everyone that doesnt adore Canelo & Floyd HATERS lol I don't hate either BUT I have absolutely no respect for either. Both have been proven cheaters, no matter what the commission said to try & cover for them. Both are Duckers, you can hear then quack. Canelo, if he really had a set, would have wanted to revenge his schooling he got from Dmitry Bivol & defend his bogus 168 belts against him. Why haven't one of the Alphas demanded Canelo defend against his mandatory Benividez?? Remember how he handed back the 160 WBC belt when ordered to face GGG ??? You'd see the same thing happen & those of you that worship him would be fine with that Ive no doubt.
The guys that slate Canelo are not HATERS but genuine boxing fans who are tired of the corruption

Canelo was the bogus World Middleweight champion but chickened out when ordered to defend it against GGG & handed it back like sissy. He'd likely do same again

Why doesn't 6' 2'' Benavidez compete in heavyweight?

He chooses not to he can make 168, he is the #1 challenger for the 168 titles. He wants the fight Its Canelo that doesn't because if he does he knows he'll likely lose BUT As we all know Benividez will have to stop him to prevent his friendly judges saving his butt .. Its sad to have to believe this but its true

He is just a size bully, bullying smaller opponents. He is scared to fight David Morrell.
