People crapping on my post.. All I am saying is that if Canelo won against the #2 guy in LHW, I am sure he can go to greater lengths by consolidating 2 more belts. I am simply saying he wouldn't, because of Artur and his destructiveness. Not blaming him, just first thing that struck me after the fight
Ya'll tripping... I don't even like Canelo, but this man has Floyd Mayweather, GGG, and Sergei Kovalev on his resume.. That **** crazy and people STILL criticize
Clenelo lost 10-11 rds against 36 yr old Floyd Mayweather. Split a pair of fights against 36 yr old GGG He very well may be wrecked against 36yr old Kovalev...
Not disputing that... Just saying the man constantly tests himself and I've grown to appreciate that... That's all I ask in a fighter... He's a throwback in that sense... I never thought he would fight GGG and Damny Jacods but he's given me 3 fights with those guys
Canelo KTFO Beterbiev in 1. Easy fight. Canelo would use his superior head movement, befuddle, almost hypnotize Beterbiev like a King cobra does its prey and strike Beterbiev with a liver shot, likely breaking a couple ribs by smashing them onto his liver making the much bigger but less skilled fighter drop to his side, rolling around the canvas in unforgiving pain, similar to De La Hoya when he was KTFO by the great Alien Hopkins, back then known as the executioner. Easy win.
I know you are making light but it could be a possibility if Canelo wins, that’s why I asked how you thought it’d go down. Unless you think Canelo has gone to 175 for 1 fight only?
My honest opinion is that we don't know how Canelo will even perform against Kovalev. He's much shorter, not as strong, and despite Kovalev's age still has every other significant advantage over Canelo. At this point I have to make Canelo the underdog against any top LHW.
yes canelo may run back but thats what he does. unlike 3G who will move up to CW if I am not mistaken.
As he should. He’s 29 and at his peak. No need to take away the rest of his prime. Even the fact that his name gets mentioned along the Sane lines as Beterbiev shows credit to him.
