Calling it now. The Crawford hype is entertaining but not based in reality. Bud struggled mightily against Madrimov and arguably LOST that fight. Bud is OLDER than Canelo and is moving up TWO weight classes. Bud is coming off yet another year plus layoff. Bud's power did little to Madrimov and he didnt necessarily handle Madrimov power great himself. If Bud fights like he says he's going to, Canelo STOPS him. Otherwise its Jermell 2.0
Only way Canelo stops Bud is if he fights as if the check hasn't cleared, but I don't think that urgency will exist.
Nope. Bud will not be able to bang and 38 years with years of inactivity will show up come fight night.
That's certainly a possibility, however slim, but Bud is bigger than given credit for and crafty as hell. IMO he'll do enough to survive 12 rounds and look competitive going it. If the Canelo from the Bivol fight and the Crawford from Spence fight show up then we'll have a barnburner and you will be right.
