Why keep lying about the Guerrero fight not selling well??:think

Broner vs Reese did better ratings than Alvarez vs Trout.:deal

Canelito isn't the draw you dreamers claim he is

    Why not learn to read?

I said Canelo would be a superstar should he beat Floyd.. Just as Floyds win against De La Hoya did the same for him.

The Guerrero fight did sell well.. BUT when compared to Floyds other ppvs recently it didnt sell well.

The Guerrero fight had 1m buys.

    1.2m vs Ortiz
    1.35 vs Moseley
    1.5 vs Cotto

Canelo vs Trout was on Showtime, Rees vs Broner was on HBO, HBO has a higher viewership, we'll see if Broners numbers maintain at Showtime.

yes i could definitely see a draw, this would create an even bigger 2nd fight and possibly a trilogy as others have said. his name is "money" mayweather after all and i believe a trilogy would generate the most money for all involved.

    Interesting idea.

Another possibility would be FLOYD winning a controversial split decision, or even a close unanimous decision.

I don't expect Floyd to lose this one... but it's not out of the realm of possibility for the fight to be close enough that it could become a point of contention in the boxing world among fans and "experts" alike.

Lol Hopefully, Floyd will be less black than Trout, and a bit more white (intelligent) and mexican (tough and brave) on the night.

I agree with the stamina comment however, and think it's impossible for Canelo to win on a SD. Floyd is the A-side, not Canelo.

Alvarez is not a big draw more than anyone else would be that has a chance to win. If Matthysse KO Garcia, a floyd vs Lucas fight would do just as well. Rematches do not do that good unless the fight fight was a war. As much as I like Floyd's fighting it is not super thrilling. Any fighter who people relly think can beat Floyd will sell big.
My prediction: Floyd will win very easily and he will fight Matthysse after he beats the **** out of GaRCIA.

Are you serious, you honestly believe that a May vs Mathysse fight would do just as well as a May vs Cinnamon fight?

I really don't think there is a way that these scumbags can rob either fighter. Floyd has that huge deal with SHO and Canelo is shaping up to be the future cash cow. The ideal outcome would be a close fight so that a 2nd one can be made.

yes, if anything Matthysse is more popular than Alvarez. Get it or not, anyone who is perceived to be able to beat Floyd will be a big draw. Some people on here act like Alvarez is a superstar. He has had 3 fights with guys who are known. and 2 of those 3 were way past their best if not completely washed up.
ppv sales for JMM fight 1.1 mil
ppv sales for ortiz fight 1.25 mil
why is that because Ortiz is a better fighter (hell no)
only because more people thought floyd would lose.
Floyd could fight a c level guy at 160 (like Soliman or Sturm)and get 2 mil ppv sales just because he would most likely be much smaller and might get KO.

That is true but Oscar was in the place then that floyd is now and the judges gave Oscar a little gift. Floyd may get a little gift too but I doubt he will need it. This will look like Guerrero fight, with red hair. One sided, easy money for MONEY!

you act like Alvarez ever had a press tour before. He is in the limelight because he is fighting Floyd and they know they can sell it. He is Mexican and will get a lot of support from his people, so what? When Broner said let the fans pick my next opponent, polls and forums all over had same result MATTHYSSE! Matthysse did not want the press tour because he did not need it and he wanted to train. Garcia's dad said he was glad they did not do it for the same reason. You come on, after Alvarez gets schooled, he will be just another guy. He will lose when he fights some real SWW fighters like Lara,Smith,Molina,or Cotto.
LOOK UP HIS RECORD HE HAS 3 GOOD WINS MAYBE? hypejob:hi:
