It's not a bad fight. A fight with Lara would have been better but still this isn't a "****" fight by any means.
For PPV, yes. As a fight in general, no. People claim fighters need to "step it up", but the consideration is how much? Williams was KOd and has looked subpar recently. However he is a step up compared to a 2012 Mosley, recent Kermit Cintron, Alfonzo Gomez and Matthew Hatton. Williams may not be Martinez, but he presents a new challenge. Kirkland is a great fight that fans would want. But who is to say you same fans wouldn't turn around and say Kirkland was already exposed, is chinny, not that good, fortunate vs Molina? Bundrage? Angulo took a beating. Etc. Yes, there are better fights like vs Lara (who should be his pre Mayweather test if they fight next May 5th). But I don't think Paul Williams is a waste of a fight.
Williams is a good fight. WTF are you talking about? Williams is actually a big step up for Canelo.:deal
its a good fight . i cant believe he is doing a ppv thats bull , may or pac are the only ppv fighters
why do people keep saying it like this fight has already been made? has canelo or oscar even mentioned petey wheatstraw as an opponent? I doubt this will be the fight, as peter wheatstraw ain't even GBP. .. . Kirkland is more likely option.
STFU, this is a good fight. It's not like it's some A lister fighting a bottom 10 fighter. Canelo needs these types of fights if he's to have a successful career. The kids 21 FFS...
P Williams is done and will get KO'd against canelo in an uncompetitive fight. Williams cannot handle that type of power.
thank you.. and the guy who made the thread of it getting 1 million buys is a dumbass **** fight.. **** buys if ppv... should not happen. canelo vs martinez at 154 if they wanna get paid... **** em if they dont
