    QFT...

Canelo is used to being able to stalk guys, and then take huge amounts of time off in a round. How many fights has he been in with a guy who will NOT STOP PUNCHING in any second of Round 1-12.

If he doesn't get Paul out of there in 6 Rounds, he will find out the hard way what it's like to be in there with a guy in the later rounds who is as fresh and relentless in Round 12 as he was in Round 1.

If Paul wins early rounds as he usually does, Canelo is in trouble. He's not getting any of these "accumulation stopages" or "fatigue stoppages" that you get when a guy is dead tired and can't get away from him any longer.

GBP is not making this fight. They ain't ****in stupid. :bart

agreed, I can't believe they'd consider this when Kirklands a far easier fht and appearantly a hotter commodity right now which is baffling considering Williams just whupped the featherfisted guy that KO'd Kirkland in 1 and Kirkland is coming off a disgraceful performance where he got schooled and bullied around the ring by featherfisted Molina. Canelo actually has power, Kirkland would get ****ing killed with ease. My only guess is that GBP are trying to build Kirkland back up with a couple good performances making him look like a harder fight for Canelo that he'll get more credit for in a year or so.....

Yeah, I'm the one that's trolling, sure bud!

I love a good scrap, anyone that knows me knows that I appreciate grit and determination more then skill!

A lot of posters want to say Williams is a bad fighter but Kirkland is the way to go, and I gotta call bull**** on that one.
Let's look on paper only - Both guys have been stopped, one by Martinez, the other one by Ishida?
Both have had rock'em sock'em fights.
You can't possibly say that one is better then the other without them fighting eachother.

I don't think that Williams will take this fight. If he gets knocked out again, what's gonna happen?

The kid is 21 for **** sake, what do you want him to do? Fight Mayweather and Martinez? What he's doing at that age and his record is nothing short of unbelievable, he's a budding superstar, they'd be ****ing idiots to throw him in the deep end. Paul Williams is more than enough of a tough fight for him at this point, its a great match, stop expecting so much in boxing. Have a little patience.
