Vintage Shadow111. He got new batteries for his Can-E-lo-Vision glasses and its clear to him that Canelo humiliated Golovkin in a masterful and crushing performance. Meanwhile in the real world Canelo is doing his roadwork running backwards (a la round 10) so that he's ready for the rematch.
The sequence at 1:19 (of the video) starting with 1:40 left in the round was a nice series of punches by Golovkin. (that's what you're referring to right?) However right before that Golovkin was wobbled by a hard left hand by Canelo that wobbled Golovkin. Golovkin though responded quickly coming in with pretty much 7 or 8 unanswered punches starting with a hard jab that surprised Canelo. Now of those 7 / 8 unanswered punches, the first one, the jab, was a really nice jab by Golovkin, pushing Canelo back in the ropes. However Canelo ducked the next follow-up jab, and seemed to slip the right that followed as well. (though it's hard to tell, we can't see how the punch landed) Then the 4th punch in the sequence, the left hook by GGG missed, as Canelo was moving away. You might think it landed and smacked him across the face, but look at it closely. It may have grazed his beard, but it did not land flush. However the 5th punch in the sequence, the jab with 1:36 left in the round, did land solid for Golovkin. A nice jab there by GGG. Another good jab by GGG a second later. Those two jabs landed clean. Then Golovkin throws a short right hook, appeared to land on the back of Canelo's head. That one didn't have anything on it. So really, in that "stream of unanswered punches" only 3 of those punches landed flush, which were jabs. The other 5 in that sequebce appeared to be slipped. Golovkin also did land a nice right hand with 1:19 left in the round. (1:40 on the video). That's about 4 significant punches from Golovkin. That's what I meant by Golovkin having a mini-comeback in the 2nd minute. Those 4 punches were good from GGG, I can't deny that, but those were not better than what Canelo did in the first minute, and besides those 4 punches in the 2nd minute by GGG, he didn't land much else significant in the round.
Nothing wrong with moving backwards after standing toe to toe landing heavy bombs in combination. Mixing up standing toe to toe and outboxing your opponent is part of the sweet science and what makes Canelo such an effective boxer. Canelo can stand in front of you and box, he can make you miss with upper body movement, he can block, he can also get on his bike to change up the pace. He was befuddling GGG in the 10th pure and simple. GGG definitely had a nice little mini-comback in the middle of the round. He landed 3 solid jabs and a hard right. Besides those GGG moments of clarity, it was pretty much a Canelo clinic.
Shadow is fillibustering the forum again lol. You can see he is suh a neutral observer in the clenelo drugs debate, he doesnt seem to care much of clenelo at all
if by the rest of us you mean those in the tank for GGG, than yes I see things much differently than those in the tank for GGG, I see things much more clearer and without that kind of bias. And you can tell that with how I went though the 10th round, acknowledged your sequence of punches and GGG's mini-rally in the 2nd minute. It's so funny that when I try to respond to your points, I'm typically met with some kind of tongue in cheek comment rather than point-by-point discussion. One has to wonder why attention to detail is met with such resistance amongst the hardcore GGG fanbase. I mean, lets just take the comment from the gmurphy character. To characterize that response as filibustering, you must be seriously threatened by what actually happened in the fight. If describing what happened in the round and pointing out where the better work occurred is filibustering, then we may as well just close our eyes when the fight is on and just debate about what we imagined happened.
probably, hes the younger man so his tank was superior in those rounds. but earlier 3G delivered enough sturdiness and bombs to equate to whatever silk Canelo produced.
I had 2 of the last 3 rounds for Canelo and the first 4 when I watched, so it was a draw in my eyes. Never rewatched it though
I think he just has ginger fetish. He has found good company in dino lol. He calls us ggg nuthuggers despute me not really caring about ggg yet he is the neutral observer lol. Just becuase i thought ggg won the fight, (95% of people do) the rest are dlh, clenelo, shadow and morales oh and byrd.thats literally it. Becuase iv the same opinion as over 9/10 people im a nug hugger but he holds opinions about clenelos drug use and 'draw' that literally no one holds and he is a the neutral here. Shadow is handicapped
I don't have any problem with you thinking GGG won the fight, however you seem to have a problem with me thinking Canelo won the fight. Lets review : you said I'm filibustering the forum by discussing what happened in the 10th round. Now you're saying I have a ginger fetish? I'm handicapped? Just listen to yourself, how do you expect anybody to take you seriously with off the wall comments like that? You're so insecure about GGG getting his ass kicked by Canelo that you're literally making up numbers like "95% of people thought GGG won the fight". There's nothing wrong with you thinking GGG won the fight, but have some respect for others who see it differently than you. You're very deep into GGG la la land, but dumbing down the topic isn't going to work with me.
I dont have a problem with your opinion once you can admit you are a massive clenelo fan and as a result clouded by bias. 90% of people thought clenelo lost 90%+ of people think he is a drugs cheat. You think he is neither. Only people working for golden boy hold these two positions. Honestly i think oscar js about the only person to publicly hold these positions. Once you can admit you are a massive clenelo fan and that your judgement on these issues as a result may be clouded we wont make fun of you any more. If you keep pretending tk be a neutral observer we will abuse you for being a jackass
