Sometimes the person you want to win overrules logical and unbiased scoring. I just watched the Canelo vs Trout fight again and found it very very difficult to give trout anything more then 3 rounds. It wasnt until round 5 that he actually hit canelo clean on the jaw. Canelos defense was quality. I honestly have no idea how some people feel trout won that fight. It was clear as day to me. How did you see it?

trout was dictating the action for some of the fight. some rounds canelo just didn't do much. i had trout by a point but have no problem with canelo winning the decision. i like both guys so i'd like to think my scorecard was unbiased.

You had Trout by a point?! Which rounds did you score for him? Because i pretty much gave the first 8 to Canelo. Dictating the pace doesn't do enough. He didnt land one meaningful punch through out the entire fight.

Trout definitely won 2 or 3 rounds in the first half just due to activity and the fact that Alvarez was missing with wide shots and couldn't close the gap. 2nd half was all Alvarez.

This was NOT a close fight this was dominance by Canelo... But we see whats going on here, lets pretend it was close, lets discredit Canelo because we were supposed to come here and talk about how Badly Trout exposed him and state the reasons why Floyd shouldnt fight him.
Well they cant argue that today, the best they can do is use the biased ringside commentary to make an argument for Trout... they didnt expect and were not prepared to see Ginger out slick, out box, out hustle, knock down, and out work Austin Trout....

so I can understand them being a little ****ed up over it today... they are still in shock... but even then that does not make it a close fight, it wasnt close

I thought Canelo won 7 at least 7 rounds clearly. I'm not even a fan of Canelo, but he was landing the significant blows. Trout looked like sht trying to go on the offensive, he looked really lost when he was the one that had to initiate the action.

He won because he was given virtually every single round in which there was no truly decisive winner.Any round that was even remotely close was always going to his soullessness.

Where you watching the fight? I couldn't even give a single round to Trout. If I did score nicely, it would be a lop-sided win. Trout didn't throw hardly any meaningful punches.

    VIVA MEXICO!!!!!!!!!!!!! :happy
