Canelo would be a HEAVY FAVORITE against Beterbiev...

I've been watching some Beterbiev fights, and if Canelo can take his power, or neutralize it (which I think he can) he could beat him, rather easy imo.

 

No one knows who Beterbiev is. Callum Smith is known in the UK.

I think once Canelo cleans out SMW, has some big money fights against Spence, Charlo and other better known fighters he'll move up again and fight him.

 

I don't know, he seems rather slow, and lacks defense.

 

Yeah But his power is brutal. Canelo has a good chance if he can stay away from a firefight with artur.

 

What sense would it make for the top fighter in the world to go to Kazakhstan to fight an unknown?

 

Canelo might have an iron chin, but it would be his body i'd be worried about with Beterbiev.

He generates a crazy amount of power with very short shots, and Canelo's stamina would not like those body shots. Whilst Canelo is skillful enough to stay on the outside, I don't think that's where he excels - which is rather in the pocket, but that puts his body at risk from Beterbiev's best shots IMO.

I think Canelo would probably have a lead going into the latter half, but the body shots would have taken there toll by the later rounds and Beterbiev would stop an exhausted Canelo late.

Kovalev was well past his best when Canelo fought him and basically EVERYONE knows this. Canelo is obviously a terrific fighter, but the catchweight atg still hasn't fought a closer than Kovalev to his prime Beterbiev. Hmmmmm

 

more people know beterbiev cmon. Nobody outside england knows callum.

 

Beterbeef puts a brutal beating on Clenelo Alvaroids and possibly ends his career. Clenelo will never fight Beterbeef.

 

It would be a hell of a fight, but Canelo doesn't have balls to fight Betterbiev at 175 and without his usual A side shaninigans.

 

I'd be very impressed but not very surprised if Canelo knocked out Beterbiev.

 

I keep telling everyone that Beterbiev isn't that good. Canelo would outbox him.

 

For some reason I feel Canelo is not a great match up for Beterbiev, I can't really see Beterbiev or anyone under 190 knocking Canelo out and Canelo has faster hands, better combinations and much better defense than Beterbiev and I say that as someone who really dislikes Canelo, Beterbiev punches much harder but Canelo is the most durable elite boxer along with Golovkin. I geniunely believe that GGG still beats Canelo even at his old age and Beterbiev would geniunely be a close fight. I can't see Canelo knocking Beterbiev out either, I think Canelo wins via a very close decision edging on a robbery.

Beterbiev is similar to GGG in many ways however he's not as good defensively and doesn't have the ATG jab that GGG has.

 

Ramzan Kadyrov would have Beterbiev thrown into Khankala prison and murdered if Artur accepted any crippling contractual clause or gave less than 100% effort.

These guys from the Caucuses are not motivated by money, women or material wealth. It's about national, regional pride and family honour.

Look at Khabib. He is an apex predator and will always be one.
