Mifune had bags of Eastwood swag too.

No one does that to Charlie Bronson. What a badass

JMM hadn't slowed down more than Pac, though. GGG has slowed down significantly more than Canelo by the looks of it.

Murata would certainly be a tough fight for Canelo. He would actually come to fight unlike Canelo's opponents since GGG. Wonder how Canelo would like Murata's body punches. He's got the height and reach for it. He also has a chin and hits hard... How is Canelo going to feel when his inside glove slap body "punches" don't affect Murata? Canelo would not KO Murata. His fights are fixed, and Canelo couldn't even knock out 154lbers despite weighing 170-180lbs fight night

Much easier than 40 y/o GGG did. That said, we'll see what a 40 y/o Alvarez looks like and revisit this thread. See you then.

    I agree he would have.

Murata is tailor made for him.

But it would have been fun.

That has already been discussed in this thread.

Both Canelo and Golovkin have almost the same amount of years fighting as professionals.

Canelo has had tougher and longer fights because he's been fighting higher level opposition.

By the time Canelo is 40 he would fighting professional for 25 years. Golovkin has been fighting Professional for 15 years at 40 with less pro rounds against lower tier fighters.

Canelo would've won a lopsided decision over Murata (Murata's history shows this as being possible), there's no way Canelo would ko him. What more evidence do people thinking this need to see to know that wouldn't happen?

Lets be honest, even at 40, ggg is the best opponent for canelo besides beterbiev. I think canelo will walk through bivol, who is to tentative imo.
Look what canelo did to the Super middle weight division. It was a walking cake for him.

Lets be real ggg and canelo are made for each other. They are both clearly atg and on an own level. I also think canelo vs ggg 3 will be as close as the first two fights (imo ggg won both), but this canelo will win fair and sqaure in a close decision.
    Lets appreciate these two monsters

Golovkin and his heavy hands laid a sustained beating on him for a number of rounds. A previous loss, Brant (although not a big hitter), rained punches on him. All fights I've seen with him, he's shown to be fairly durable in all the fights I've seen him in, win and lose. And even with the Golovkin win, he wasn't out of it per se. I don't think Canelo stops someone like that.
