    This whole ducking nonsense is entirely a fans narrative due to their own ignorance of the real issues that's preventing the fight. Money is what's driving all of this. Its not that different from the situation with Floyd who fought from a business perspective instead of a fans perspective.

    Chavez Jr also had size, strength and punch out put going for him when he faced Canelo and we saw what happened.

    But yeah the fight needs to happen, question is does either side even want it?

    More desperation from the Canelo fans, if Benavidez is such an easy fight why doesn’t he get it out the way then given he will likely become his mandatory? He had no problem requesting the Yildirim fight, why not this?

    But you have to admit Chavez Jr. was never considered elite at any weight class. Guy was living off his pops name. Benavidez is clearly more of a threat the Jr. ever was despite his flaws.

    Does Benavidez and his team get to have a POV, or do we just pretend that a two- year interim champ and 1 year mandatory who had earned his shot doesn't exist?

    I think he could school the young man if they fought now. 2 years from now? Benavidez very well could beat him if he slows down any more than where he is now, clocks ticking.
