Has fought his past 3 fights at MW, yet ppl still refer to him as a SWW.

    What gives???

Is GBP praying that Floyd or Pac will fight him at a CW again so theyre draining him constantly to remain in contention for fights vs WWs???

I mean Oscar and Floyd arent exactly buddies, and Pac has got Bradley 3 (if he loses to May) and May 2 and 3 if he wins next month.

Floyd, should he beat Pac, has got Thurman, Brook, and Khan, and wouldnt give Canelo another shot at a CW if he needed the $$$, which he wont till he's in his mid 40s.

So......why is Oscar holding Canelo back from fulfilling his true career as a LHW.:patsch:patsch:patsch

Canelo is a flyweight by nature

Because he's the biggest figure at 154. I think he should move up to 160 just like Garcia should 147, but the reality is that Canelo is the biggest star at JMW and doesn't have to fight animals like Golovkin there.

I think he better get serious about his diet his physicality plays into a lot of his fights at JMW and it wouldn't at MW. He would not be peak at MW he is barely getting past the top dogs at JMW.

I agree, I don't think Canelo can consistently make JMW anymore, he's to thick around the core. There is no point in him not making the leap to MW

I mean he coulda won the title off Lara for 1 stinking 1.

Why didnt they contract for it.

I think he's done at 154. Has been since he drained for Mayweather 2 friggin yrs ago.

Like you said, he's thick......he's a SMW at least. And here he is still fighting SWWs at MW.

Isnt the Kirkland fight contracted for 156. I mean WTF is that????:-(

I think he hasn't made the move due to the lack of named americans at MW, but within the next year or so I see him making the move.
