Most fighters with iron chins are weak to the body, I wouldn't be surprised if GG gets hurt this time

A fighter that was "terrified of GGG", that was supposed to get "KO" because GGG is a "much better fighter" is fighting him again.

If he tries to get combinations to the body together, there's a huge sledgehammer counter-punch to the head coming his way.

I guess that the head shot that hurt Kova right before getting stopped was also a "nut shot"?

I think GGG fought the best fight he could possibly have fought against Canelo. I believe that fight could have possibly taken GGGs prime right out of him.

I have never seen anyone land on GGG as hard as Canelo did, and I have never seen GGG take so many powerful body shots.

The only way I see GGG winning is if Canelo 's conditioning is worse this time around, which is highly unlikely.

GGG probably felt that his constant pressure would eventually tire Canelo out and he'd catch him with something mid to late, so he ignored the body, people do make incorrect assumptions like that sometimes.

I'll do a full breakdown article before the fight, but...

He should ignore the head early and invest in the body a hell of a lot more, when he gets him on the ropes, which he did on occasion. Use more lateral movement, don't follow as much, and GGG who usually has exemplary footwork is capable of that adjustment, shoot the right hook a little further to the right, predict where Canelo's head will be when he slips the hook instead of aiming for his melon and missing by a mile.

Based on the fact that Canelo in his first MW fight without being acclimated to the new weightclass still managed to keep Golovkin honest AF.

You think GGG was tentative because he wanted to go easy on Canelo?? lol No. GGG had the upmost respect for Canelo's power, and since GGG is saying he's going for the KO this time around that means that he will be opening up much more allowing the faster Canelo to counter him.

There's a reason GGG relied heavily on the jab as opposed to his seek and destroy style. It is harder to counter a quick jab than it is power punches. More committed power from GGG means a lot more opportunities for Canelo to tee of on his chin or rearrange his internal organs.

I would buy that narrative if it wasn't for the inconvenient fact that every pressure fighter knows (or should know) that body shots are vital to wear down, weaken, and tire an opponent who will focus on guarding his body more later in the fight leaving his head more exposed. Mexican style is not exclusively pressure, but Mexican style is being dedicated to the body, something GGG couldn't do against Canelo's faste counters.

Sure, go ahead. Your breakdown means little considering you were completely wrong about their first fight, so your breakdown of this fight will just be a bunch of unreliable gibberish either way.

Again, easier said than done. At 35 he should be able to make these adjustments in the fight. Going to the body against the shorter more compact Canelo means GGG will have to not only open up more and expose his head, but reach down more than he's used too leaving his head open much longer, and that is not good news if you have an explosive fast power puncher in front of you.

Golovkin was 35 and will be 36 when they face off again. Dude hasn't been prime for a number of years. This ain't some ultra sophisticated doping program like JMM went on. He KO'd Pacquiao at age 39.

Bookmarked for 2028 when Canelo is 36 and we'll see if he's still prime.

I have GGG winning again but this time the judges get the decision correct. I see Alvarez making it a fight this time and not back peddling due to the heat he has received from his first performance. That will be the difference. Because he has something to prove he will try to bang with Golovkin and will get hurt, dropped or possibly TKO’d. I believe the knock down(s) will be the difference in a very action packed rematch

Alvarez finally speaks! He said GGG is getting Knocked out this time. He’s definitely looking to prove something this time around! Most rematches aren’t as good as the original but I think this one will be. Canelo seems like he is serious about going for the knockout this time.
