People say go to the body and I agree to an extent, but its not that easy to go to the body on a shorter, explosive fighter who has a significant speed advantage and the power to stun you and who is using the ring well. Its just not that simple. This isnt Martin Murray.

The story of the first fight for me was as follows:
1.) Canelo did, in the little time that he fought, the better work
2.) Still GGG did not fight in spurts and therefore should have won the fight via points
3.) GGG very often missed Canelo by tiny margins. (Canelo really doing some great evasive work).

If Canelo can't improve his stamina he won't be able to really improve. However GGG has more room for improvement trying to time Canelo's evasive work better this time.

He's only been in two tough fights because he's that good :deal:

702-486-2575 Tell Bob Bennett you want a fair fight with fair judges, boxing commission and referee for Golovkin Vs. El Pollo! that's 702-486-2575, Bob Bennett's number!

How much credit do you give Canelo for that performance?

Not a hell of a lot. It's obvious Cheeseburger jr was weight drained to death. I think he proved much more vs GGG.

Good that it happens, but we actually expected as much after Billy Bob Bouncers schooled David LeMule.

I reckon GGG will lose at some point in his career and could get hurt at some point but I don’t think it will be Canelo who does it.
I find it funny how Canelo fans who aren’t known for being subjective argue it was a draw whilst Golovkin fans think he won,see the difference?Canelo fans are acting like Golden Boys judges and have looked for every which way to give him a draw as they know deep down he lost, the difference in mindset speaks volumes but shows us a robbery is on the cards should Canelo do just 5% better.

To get the win yes cause even if he did a Gabe Rosado type beating on him for twelve rounds they’d still give it a draw.
Why on earth can’t both teams ask for neutral judges?

He’s already PFP either one or two imo but that said he still needs a Thurman,Spence to give him a big fight and myself I think he’ll beat both but I do understand why some would try and pick holes in his resume to date.

Finally... May the best man win and may we all get a good fight and fair decision. My quick take here.. Whoever learned the most from their mistakes in the 1st one will win a decision. For my GGG needs to go to the body and he needs to start early.. Not give the 1st three rounds away like he did the last time.. Dont care what anybody says Im a fan of GGG but Canelo won the first three rounds clearly.. So don't wait to much.. Fight fk it.. hes got the chin and if he gets KTFO who cares..Behind the jab of course.. I dont see Canelo KOíng him any way.. however for Canelo.. He needs to train for more stamina this time. Stay away from the ropes and go to the body more.. If he can fight they way he fought for the first three rounds going to the body a little more but for the full 12 rounds I see him winning a UD. That being said.. Easier said than done for both fighters!! Cant wait!! Thank you GGG Canelo for the rematch!! Wohoo

Within context, he gets credit for fighting above MW before facing Golovkin. Thats just the fact of the matter.

He’s only fought 2 notable opponents. What a coincidence and he seen the 12th round against those guys for the first time in his professional career as well. For the record I’m selling the Grand Canyon if anyone is interested. No lie.
