Actually fight real Mexican style. Commit to punches. Pity pat jab fest wasn’t effective although people want to cry foul about robberies.

I think Canelo is being sold short and he indeed won. I don’t score ineffective agression especially when a guy is doing a good job on defense which I graded the gassed Canelo a B+.

 

Prime Canelo vs Past prime GGG will be the decisive factor

 

Who can make more improvements? I think no question it's GGG. He didnt put enough heat on Canelo in the first six rds because he had FAR too much respect for his power. In the 2H of the fight he was walking Canelo down and walking right through his punches.

That heat will be there from rd1 this time. He'll be going to the body early and often. That'll slow Canelo head movement (GGG missed damn near every right hand to the head in the first fight).

What can Canelo improve upon? He's not going to develop punching power. He can't hold the middle of the ring. He wont vastly improve his defensive skills off the back foot.

I just dont see it.

Oh I got a following. I could get into all the dynamics of why people claim things but I know I’m correct. Don’t care about the consensus. I’m not from this American Idol era.

I, personally, understand the draw decision. I rarely want one of fighters to win, but in this case, I'd like GG to win simply because this is it for him, while Canelo has, potentially, many years left still. I have a feeling Canelo is winning though. No real reason, just gut.

Are you denying the existence of Canelo vs JCCjr? If not, you are going to have to awknowledge Canelo fought at 164 and moved down to face Golovkin...not up.

 

Duran came down from MW to fight Tommy Hearns at 154... Hearns was the bigger man.. You just don't get it do you?

 

Canelo fought Jr at a mickey mouse weight because he posed no threat whatsoever being drained down to a husk.

That fight was a glorified training session. All Canelo's real fights were bellow MW.
