After getting Trout down and clearly BADLY hurt only 13 seconds into a round, he didn't come close to getting him out of there. Credit to Trout, or should Canelo have don better?

Could of been that he didn't want get confident. Trout showed that he was great boxer maybe he kept that in mind and didn't want to rush.

I felt Canelo was pretty disciplined in his approach. He was a bit winded anyway. If he had blown all of his steam and still not finish Trout, he would have been in trouble. Then we would be speaking of Canelo like we did Angulo after the Kirkland fight.

The open scoring messed up the fight. Canelo saw that and took it easy.

He went after him but he fighting smart, trying not to run into anything. He fought a very smart fight, but a bit too conservative. Again, open scoring could have had something to do with it.
