Not great that's for sure but he has good recovery ability which is often overlooked.

Even though he was hurt by a much smaller fighter when he fought Miguel Cotto's brother, thats about the only time he got hit good.

So far i would say his chin is still untested.

I am banking on it being Glass. He got put on ***** Street by Cotto's Feather Fisted brother and wobbled by Cintron who cannot punch at 154. He will be brutally KOed when he stops fighting bums and old men.

    Pacquiao was KTFO by bums
Cotto wasnearly KTFO by journey men
Lennox Lewis was KTFO by a contender, a fat one.
Wlad K was KTFO by journey men
Tito Trinidad was clean clocked by journeymen
Roy Jones Jr. was KD good by a contender in his absoloute prime

What the **** is the problem with Canelo getting stunned by J. Cotto?

I thought Cintron (A very powerful fighter) tagged him atleast twice, and Canelo took those shot extremely well.

Like most posters have already stated, Jose Cotto did rock him, but Canelo recovered well without running, clinching, or holding he fought his way out of trouble.

I don't know where some people are getting this "Cintron stunned him..." stuff? Cintron was able to land a few shots but none had any affect on Alvarez.

By the way Alvarez is not a "Mexican Brawler" he's more of a well rounded Boxer-Puncher with a decent chin.

Neither of these events ever happened.

You sound like another really stupid ****. You'll fit in nicely with the chincheckers.

You sound like you do not watch the Boxing matches that you comment on. You should fit in well with the rest of ESB's fanboys.

What are your chinchecking credentials? MM calls it how he sees it, and is willing to stick his neck out and make groundbreaking predictions

Agree..........and I think he'll improve with age. This kid has KO power and fast hands. He could be a "somebody" in a year or two.
