But he did. Byrd was under 200 pounds coming over on the plane. He added another 13 eating furters and sauer krout.

The 'great' Wlad had a 25 lb weight advantage over his best win. Both times

Dino, my point is going right over your head, here lad.

Either that, or you're trying to get yet another dig at Wlad, in a discussion that has phuck all to do with Wlad.

(If Chris wants to hold the HW belt, he knows that it's boxing's only open category and there may be some very big guys facing him for it).

If I'm Wlad, I don't care what weight Chris comes in at.

He can come in at 201 or 241.

But I woiuld care if I normally fight around 240 and Byrd mandates that I weigh in at 201.

    That's what Canelo is doing.

If Canelo wants to come in at 155, fine, nobody's stopping him.

But he's also trying to compel GGG to come in at 155 when the MW limit is 160.

This is completely unprecedented in its cheek.

There have been past instances where a challenger has asked for a catchweight in order to challenge for a belt.

Oscar compelled BHop to weigh in at 158 for the MW title.

IMO, the title should not be at stake if there is any precondition that prevents the fighters from competing at their own chosen weight (within the permitted range).

But for the Belt holder to refuse to defend the belt against an opponent who comes in within the legal range, makes a mockery of the existing weight divisions and effectively creates, in Canelo's case, a new 155 lb category.

We have 17 weight classes (which IMO is already too many).

    We don't need any more.

The last time the WBC MW title was contested at the full MW limit was on the 27th of April, 2013 ie. a month shy of 3 years ago.

There was nothing wrong with him stepping aside to let Canelo and Cotto fight.

He will have got paid, and he went on to take Lemieux's IBF belt, knowing that the winner of the Canelo-Cotto fight had to fight him afterwards.

    So why not?

    It was win-win.

If he beats Canelo, he's got nearly all of the belts. His goal is to obtain all of the belts.

Hello mate, hope you're well. Just off to bed but I just wanted to apologize for not replying to your post about Breaking Bad the other week. I meant to but I completely forgot.

To answer your question. Yes I finished it and I thought it was great, especially the last 5 or 6 episodes.

Did you finish The Jinx and if so did you enjoy it?
It is within the middleweight range, however, a fight with a weight limit of 155lbs is not a middleweight fight. The middleweight limit is 160lbs. End of. Anything else is a catchweight. If Alvarez wants to weigh in at 155 that's entirely his prerogative. However, his opponent, whoever that may be, needs to be allowed to weigh in at up to 160. If he can't accept that then he needs to go back to 154 and stop walking around calling himself a middleweight champion.
Hi mate,

I was going to PM you as I hadn't seen you around.

Don't ever worry about not replying.

BB was great, I've watched it twice now, and will probably watch it all again within the next 3-4 years. It's one of the best things I've ever seen.

We loved The Jinx. Thanks a lot for recommending it. What a character. I could have watched many more hours of footage. What a complex guy. Intelligent and stupid at the same time. He had to have killed his wife. His voice reminded me a little of Tom Waits.

We tried The Staircase but we only watched 2 episodes. My girlfriend couldn't get into it.

    Hope you're okay.

Yeah I decided to have a little break for a few weeks because it's.. um.. a total sh*th*le on here and I often feel like I'm trapped in a confined space with a bunch of deranged lunatics and weirdos lol. I don't hate everyone on here just most

Yes it's excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Bryan Cranston is a brilliant actor. That's the first and only thing I've seen him in but he was superb in it.

Glad you enjoyed it. It seems a strange thing to say about him but I thought Robert Durst had a certain coolness about him. He certainly was an interesting character. One of the first things I noticed about him was that he had black eyes lol.

I can understand that. I did enjoy it but like I said to you before the footage of the crime scene is pretty gruesome and there is quite a lot of it. It did manage to keep me intrigued right till the end though because I really wanted to find out whether he was innocent or guilty and there were a few unexpected twists in it.

    Yeah I am thanks :good

    Serge,

I know how you feel, I took a break the other month.

I can predict many of the thread titles before I even log on.

Me and my girlfriend are currently watching reruns of Malcolm in the Middle.

Brian Cranston is excellent in it. It was a really good U.S. sitcom from the early 00's. Very funny and entertaining.

He was very cool. Like ice sometimes. But some of things he did were very silly. Such as getting caught by the police for stealing a sandwich that he didn't need to steal. Also, when he repeatedly talked to himself while his mic was still switched on.

    :good

I'm going to try and get her to go back to it.

    Glad to know.

After you've watched G.O.T. the next step for you simply has to be to watch The Wire.

If I hadn't have seen it and someone had've told me that there was a TV series that was as good, or even better than BB, I'd have probably shrugged it off without taking them seriously.

    It's truly amazing.
