Didn't ggg recently say that he and Canelo are the same size? So 155 shouldn't be too difficult .....some guys have argued canelo is actually bigger ......which makes it seem like canelo offering 155 is giving ggg an advantage lol

Wish I could answer that, but I have no idea how difficult it is for GGG to get those extra 5 pounds off. Yes, he is Canelos size or slightly lighter on fight night. He is also 34 years old and hasn't fought at a weight class below 160 in a damn long time, maybe a decade or more. He would have absolutely no idea how much it would weaken him until fight night. Helluva time to find out. Conversely, I'm pretty sure Canelo knows it wouldn't hurt him one damn bit to not dehydrate off those last 5 pounds. He is only trying to weaken the opponent, who is his mandatory, in his weight class. That is what makes it a **** move to me.
