Rubbish Canelo is one of the very best P4P fighters in the world, and he has taken on all challengers.

GGG is 34yo with a resume stacked with smaller fighters and bums. The only reason GGG has any fans is because of the HBO hype machine stupefying the masses and some of the tards are eating it up

 

Canelo is the bigger draw the numbers dont lie. But then it is just a matter of numbers. Both Boxers of the highest order but one of them is Mexican and that is a massive advantage when the vast majority of money gained from the paying public comes from America. Its just the way it is and the way its always been.

But if this thread is aimed towards why Canelo should get the bigger percentage than GGG in a fight then whats the point in letting it marinate? Floyd makes loads, Pacquiao makes less but it takes Pacquiao to make Floyd his biggest payday. Canelo makes more than GGG but he needs GGG to elevate it. So on the occasion of Canelo vs GGG it will be huge, Canelo's biggest pay day. But only because he is fighting GGG. So what ever numbers either of them generate in the past isnt really that relevent for this fight.

 

Aside from Mayweather and Cotto, Canelo has done sad numbes (300-350K range).

And clottey was coming off a perceived win against the 3rd biggest draw at that time in Cotto. He was looked at a huge threat, because of his size and skills. It was an intriguing matchup that didn't live up to expectations.
