He should fight Triple G on one of the two Mexican national days next year.

He'll win by kayo if he does & that's why he should. It will cement his legacy more than any other fight.

It doesn't include you because you don't know jack about the sport, but the vast majority of boxing experts did score the first fight for Golovkin.

He arguably beat GGG, and beat a fresher Derevyanchenko clearer than Golovkin did. He's also more accomplished than Charlo and Andrade.

Yep because Jacks not a scrub is he?

    He’s probably in your top 10 P4P.

He could fight Derevyanchenko, I mean he did avoid him in the first place and as you allude to he arguably beat Golovkin and Jacobs.

Big Red should take another Rocky fight and give himself some recovery time after this fight with Krusher.

He could pick a name that is not a threat yeah know the same blueprint as he often does

If I was Canelo I would avoid jumping back to 160,I’d either stay at 175 but who exactly would DAZN approve of him to face or drop to 168 with the aim being 160 but taking the weight off correctly.

If he stays at 175 only Beterbiev or Bivol is acceptable imo.

He’s in a great place for great fights to happen.

    Good thread here.

Saul 'Opie' Alvarez has his share of options.

That would be a good appetizer but I doubt Canelo fighting someone coming off a loss(even a somewhat disputed one) would sit well with
    most boxing fans.

If Canelo does go straight back to 160 and not fight GGG then Derevyanchenko is the next best challenge out there and he’s already dropped the belt instead of facing him and it’s be an excellent fight.

What has Callum Smith done to be considered to be involved in one of the fights of the generation? Not having a dig at you but I would like to know what he has achieved to be held in such high esteem

That's my point. He's not there yet, but if he gets one or two big wins, he'll be a star. He's talented, British, likelable and of a certain complexion so his ceiling is very high for being a crossover star.

    Certain complexion?

You mean he has brown hair?, freckles?

    I don’t understand?

Funny how those experts were not paid to sit at ringside and do nothing but score the fight.

You are the one that needs to catch a clue if you genuinely believe either Kovalev or Golovkin were prime, or that Fielding is worth mentioning as a good win.
