Fully agree, that’s the fight I’d like.

I think you might be underestimating his ability to get to 160. Keep in mind he moved up to get to 160 and last night’s weight was due to a little weight training and not draining.

Good point with Zurdo and Smith in the ratings. Both fights could be big but each has room to raise their profile beforehand.

Trouble with Callum Smith is that he is abit like josh Warrington . He is a very dangerous fighter who could quite easily beat you but not a big name so it’s a big risk. I can’t see canelo going near him tbh and especially not at anfield anyway.

If Canelo wants a challenge as he says then Smith or BJS would be it.
Anyone at LHW with a pulse would beat him up

good thread, and your perspective is on point. i think it will be ggg in may, all the indifference from canelo is calculated. i think he will try to emasculate him in negotiations. force him to come up to 164 or some crap like that. maybe make the earning disparity look like hes giving ggg a tip. canelo strikes me as being that spiteful.

bivol would never get the fight, hes complicated and hard to sit through.

put em to the test. how they respond tells you how much weight that opinion carries.
