His punches are thudding there is not much snap to them. he's strong as a bull though, looks to have a good chin.
He's stiff, but he showed solid fundamentals tonight. Loosening up to gain more movement and upper body defense would add a lot of dimension to him. As of now, his punching technique is very good, he can clearly hit very hard (don't let Mosley's legendary durability fool you), and he's developing a good sense of timing with his combination punching. I'm not sure he's the next big superstar, but he's showing promise.
I thought he handled mosley better than pac or money. I think Canelo might have won all of the rounds, except maybe the first which didn't have any real exchanges. Mosley came to fight though, was very happy with both fighters.
Agreed on both counts. Lara will be very difficult for these current 154 pounders to deal with. I think he'd give Mayweather a serious run for his money. Kirkland would be a sitting duck. He's a glorified FNF's level fighter.
