Canelo's Former Promoter suing Canelo

    Before Canelo signed with Golden Boy their were some issues that appeared to be resolved. However, now his former promoter Zubala is trying to stop Alvarez vs Hatton from happening.

    One thing to note is that he is suing one year after Canelo started fighting for GBP.

    If DLH really is his mentor, I can imagine this kid turning into a greedy son of a *****. If he owes his former promoter money, he should be a man and pay up.

    He does not owe his promoter squat. The word is the contract expired and he is just trying to make a buck.

    So then why the **** is he suing Alvarez (an individual, and a young kid who shouldn't be expected to know a thing about contracts no less) and not GBP (a corporation, with more money to take and honestly more deserving of his professional ire)? :huh
