Was an A before facing Money. After Money brutally ruined him he's no longer the same fighter. I give him about a C+ now days.

B+, Alvarez should have jumped on Void and kicked his arse instead of trying to out box him, should have thrown more punches as Void throw very few punches. Alvarez was too inexperienced.............

Canelo has grown on me over his last few fights - given that he's still maturing both physically and in terms of boxing skill and fight experience I figure he's gonna be at the top of the game for a good while.

That said, I also don't believe he's going to be able to stay at JMW for that much longer and a move to 160 will be necessary within 2 or 3 years.

It will be interesting to see how competitive he is at the higher weight, but I believe he will be amongst the top names.

There has been mention of Alvarez fighting Golovkin, doubt if that fight ever happens as Golovkin would really beat the hell out of Alvarez, probably stopping him. Golovkin is not Angulo, but has skills, speed, experience, and much more power, but I really think that Golovkin's balance, footwork and esp. his timing is what makes such a huge difference. If Golovkin stops Geale, which I think he will, that will convince me 100%, but you can see Golovkin's skills and power now, just don't see how Geale can stay on his feet for 12 rounds. I really think Stevens is better at 160 than Geale....................Macklin almost beat Martinez when Martinez was still a good fighter.................Golovkin put him away early with a body punch............

    B. He has maxed out I think. I thought maybe the Floyd fight would teach him more, but the Lara fight showed his limitations are there and a good fast boxer will beat him. He is a B, and anyone higher beats him. So if he fights other B levels he can be champ for a long time.

Draw with Trout, He lost to Lara. (Never mind the judges) Didn't rematch either cause He is not confident he can beat them without the judges help. Example: his spit decision with Floyd was laughable. B+

Isn't Lara(and Trout for that matter) the good fast fighters that were supposed to school Canelo:think

Canelo beat them both(nevermind the whiny haters)!

Easily a B +level fighter. His last 4 fights are trout, mayweather, angulo, lara. <<<And he just turn 24 years old and he's 3-1 in his last 4 fights. And also 3 of the last 4 fights was against great pure skill fighters in trout, mayweather, lara. Angulo is 1 dimensional but he is a dangerous volume puncher which angulo gave lara problems before lara made angulo quit which it was a shocker. So yup I grade Canelo a B+.
