Canelo Alvarez: YES Brain YES Chin YES Heart I've been impressed by what I've seen of CALEB's self talk in the buildup to this one. The kid has pure HEART. Don't know enough about his in ring exploits yet to confidently call his brain or chin credentials. The Question is, has CANELO's HEART ever been called into question? Because this is to my acute eye the only weakness which CALEB can exploit and possibly win the fight. I've read people saying Canelo is a ducker and a diva, but surely the kid has heart in the ring? I'm interested - does anyone have any examples which would suggest Canelo has NO Heart?
It’s easy to have that when you are blatantly juicing and have extra confidence as your body and performance have been given unfair advantages.
What do you think? I hear about him having the deck stacked in his favour but I still think the kid has Heart in the ring. To my acute eye HEART is the one attribute which Plant might be able to exploit.
I don’t think Plant will be bigger in that department, he turned pro at 15 and must have been through some brutal sessions in Mexico. He did **** the bed against Floyd, but that was almost ten year ago. He was taking shots, getting backed up and feeling sorry for himself. Plant did show how tough he was when he beat Uzcategui relatively easy on points. I would prefer him to win as I cannot get past Canelo right now. He doesn’t even throw jabs or set anything up behind it since the GGG fights, he just launches a Rui or Ken’s hadouken Street Fighter style. That’s not boxing.
Everyone is blatantly juicing - it's professional sport. He has no unfair advantages. He's boxing others at the highest level.
Yeah the kid got a real life lesson in there against Floyd Jr. best thing that could have ever happened to him. I bet he learned more in that one fight than all his other fights combined. I don't know if he showed a lack of Heart in that fight though, certainly got humbled but took it well.
