Canelo's message to GGG "Put the belt issue aside and lets fight for honor and glory"

That's the point I have been making for sometime. Some fall back on the "Best fight the best" line but fail to acknowledge that one guy will be drained in an attempt to give the younger, weight cutter an advantage.

And it doesn't matter if Canelo hasn't ever fought at the "160 limit". Fact is he has fought as a MW his last several fights. He is a MW. End of story.

This may go to purse bid in a few weeks. It won't matter then who the "shot caller" is. There is a set weight range for MW purse bid and a set split of the money. None of this "155 and 90/10" BS.

Canelo will have the choice to take the fight at purse bid rules, or drop the belt.

The point is correct. Check any post here about Bowe and within at least 5-6 post someoen brings up him dodging Lewis by dumping the belt. That will be Canelo as well. And he will be crucified by the boxing press for it.

 

I wish someone would bring up his posts about Cotto and Pacquiao's catchweights. It would be a gigantic laugh.
