Canelo's next fight - 2024

My dream options are Morrell or Benavidez, but I'm figuring his first fight for the year will be Jermall. It's not a very good fight but there's a built in narrative, what with Canelo just beating his brother. Plus it's one that was already being worked on before he pulled out and got replaced by Jermell.

Hope like hell it isn't Bivol, since the real fight for Bivol is right around the corner and we don't need a roadblock for it, plus a rematch likely doesn't go any differently. I'd sure take that over a rematch with Plant though, talk about unneeded fights

 

You may not like him but your assertion is not true because he fought Floyd, Lara, Bivol and lil G three times.

He lost to Floyd and Bivol and beat lil g all 3 times in my opinion though the 1st was officially scored a draw. I think he will fight Benaividez especially now it’s a bigger fight probably in September. I think Benaividez will win but you cannot rule out Canelo either that’s for sure.

At this stage of his career there are only two fights to make - Benavidez and Crawford.

 

Canelo has ducked Benavidez like a bill collector.

 

Canelo could win, but he ain't going anywhere near Mbilli . Too great a risk reward scenario .
