Canelo should take on a sechew powell or yuri foreman. If not the winner of delvin rodriguez vs pawel wolak. Lets be honest, those are all tough fights and a slight step up in competition.
GBP are milking the cash cow, that's all. I disagree with it, fighting B level fighters is fine when you're building a record and learning the game, but when you become a champion, that should be it, bubblewrap comes off and you fight the elite. I have a funny feeling Canelo won't be as good as everyone thinks, but he'll be a well milked cash cow by then.

Paul Williams or Lara is the fight for Canelo , Chavez Jr would be a good payday if he can get it , but the fact is this , Canelo is one of the recognised champions of the division , he should start demanding meaningfull fights , he's just despatched Cintron , the guy has talent , but how many stocking fillers are we gonna see before we get a meaningfull fight featuring the lad ??? .......................
Bull****. he needs to truly step up now and fight the best jmw's. two of the most attractive fights for him are kirkland and lara and there also two of the easiest fights to make as they all have the same promoter. i fully expect canelo and his team to make those fights happen next year if they really have the desire to prove he's more than just hype. after all ppl are acting as if he's a future p4p star surely he should start with dominating a pretty loaded division or atleast trying too
