After beating Saunders, Canelo owns 3 of 4 SMW belts, & his next target is the current IBF belt holder Caleb Plant for undisputed. If he gets through Plant (which is likely), who you think Canelo's possible future opponents should be?

At 160 there's Charlo, Andrade & GGG - with the latter being the most likely for a potential trilogy. Canelo has said that he won't be going back down to 160, so those guys will need to move up if they want a fight. Charlo & Andrade (especially)) have been desperate for a fight, but haven't done anything to earn a shot. Instead of begging for a fight, they should fight each other as they're both champions at the same weight division.

At 168 there's Benavidez - who was the WBC champion before getting stripped for taken an illegal substance & not making weight. Still an intriguing match-up. If Canelo decides to stay at 168 after becoming undisputed, he should make this fight happen.

At 175 there's Bivol, Beterbiev & J Smith Jr - who hold the WBA, WBC & IBF, & WBO titles respectively. There's also Pascal who holds the WBA regular belt. While it's a minor title, I would still like to see this match-up for stylistic reasons as it will an entertaining fight & Pascal's still got it (even if he's faded).

Canelo will age Beterbiev out... wait to see if Beterbievs next fight or three shows the same issues as his last.

He never even mentioned Benavidez when he had the 168 strap.

I picture him taking on Charlo then who knows...

Refusing to go back to 160 means he doesnt want GGG. I doubt he could make 160 now anyway, even illegally . lol He sure wont want Beterbiev
Benevidez or Bivol unless he's forced too

Plant : then he might get all belts in his current division and be undisputed.
Ofc together with The Ring belt and 4 these main orgs belts for him if he will beat Plant in his next fight.
This might be good for legacy value.
