Why does it have to be an agenda personally I like talking boxing, Golovkin is a big talking point among fans and Alvarez vs Golovkin is the biggest fight out next to Kova-Ward.

People assume that because your critical of something you dislike it, I catch all of GGG fights just have a different opinion.

As far as Floyd-Baldo who should he have fought besides the Undisputed Champ? Carlos isn't a great fighter but was the best available.

People seem to forget that Baldomir was the lineal welterweight champ and hadn't lost a fight in seven years when Mayweather fought him.

Baldomir? 😁 have you ever seen that slow feather fisted guy fight? he is not even good enough to be called a journey man.

This is tired ground, the challenge at the time was Margarito but baby nuts didn't want it. And I don't have enough phone battery left to rehash this one

Twist the stats anyway you want but the reality is Tata sucks....the gulf in class was literally comical and going in everybody knew damn well it would be. People booed and walked out of that fight, it was an absolute waste of Floyd's talent. I was already beginning to feel like a sucker for tuning into his fights and that one absolutely cemented the deal for me, which was majorly disappointing at the time because again I was a huge fan of Floyd when he was coming up

If the arguments are of the merits of Khan as an opponent that is a whole different argument. Size wise Khan is gonna come in 160+ and Alvarez 170 or so. A WW fighting a JMW is nothing out of the ordinary, the most overblown aspect of this fight is the weight.

Damn near a decade unbeaten at the weight, went in to compete competitively up to 160/68 after, was coming off the biggest/best win in the division. You act like people call Baldo great he was just the best available.

Diehard Mayweather fans don't want Canelo to fight Golovkin. I'm starting to notice this!:verysad They don't want Floyds victory to be degraded in any way if Golovkin is able to give Canelo a larger beating that Floyd administered. :yep

Yeah this forum is basically like a miniature Washington DC, partisan bull**** so thick you can barely wade through it every day. Classic forum is nothing like this

Canelo had already generated 100 careers worth of chang. He's always going to be a draw because he comes to fight hard, that's a guarantee with that nasty young man

Hell, he already has arum begging to drag pac outta debt while taking his head clear off

Definitely , and I guess at the end of it that's what makes this so frustrating. Just a year or two ago I cannot imagine being where we are right now with Canelo he was really bucking the trend and taking high risk fights. Same old thing money changes things....all you guys hyping the business side of it I don't understand because that is exactly the **** that is getting in the way. The Golden age needs to be about money and pulling strings, if boxing wants to be successful now we got to see the fights. I don't buy **** paper views but I would buy good ones, free-market rules if enough people will just demand quality the profit seekers will follow

He is still young.....he'll be forgiven the travesty of relinquishing the belt and avoiding GGG. Time heals all wounds.
