And that's part of the hate. These no life losers will continue to wish for his demise. It's lonely at the top.

If these reports are true, he'll be fighting on regular HBO in December.

If Liam Smith is considered a PPV worthy opponent, who the **** isn't? Gonna have to be someone absolutely atrocious.

That changes nothing. DLH used to fight on regular HBO even when he was the box office king.

Whatever your idea of "cash cow" is, it's a safe bet , that out of all the current fighters, Canelo comes the closest to matching that description. And will probably be that for at least the next 2-3 years. So just get used to that idea.:deal

So you're saying he'll be finished as a draw in 3 years? I'm glad we agree :deal

Joshua's fights are on PPV even when he is fighting bums like Breazeale (albeit it is cheap) but guess many PPV buys will his fights against Haye, Fury or Wilder generate. It won't be cheap to buy those fights

    Worst case scenario. :deal

He is not even prime yet so more than likely he'll be at the top of the cash chain as long as he remains in the game. Enjoy the ride.:good

I don't see anyone in the near future that can surpass Canelo (as a "cash cow") but if anyone can do it is a promising heavyweight who is carefully matched and marketed. Joshua's future looks good.

Part of Alvarez's HBO contract states he has to have at least 1 regular HBO fight per year, has nothing to do with opponent quality.

I see. The point still stands though. If he had any intention of taking a serious fight in December, Smith would be the designated non PPV.

THis is how you started your long OP and it just got worse after that.

I'll definitely admit I didn't think he could make 154 any more. But he hasn't done it yet has he?

    Canelo is becoming a joke

Wins a MW belt, doesn't want to defend vs Golovkin @160, fights Khan a WW for the WBC MW belt @ 155 and now runs and fights Liam Smith @154
