Canelo's stamina is ruined (like Margarito/MAB was) cause he left high-altitude early

The air is thinner at high altitude (less oxygen) so you have to try and take more air into your lungs to try and cope with exertion.
Staying and training at high altitude conditions the body to cope with the thinner air, when somebody returns to sea level where the air is richer, the body is used to working at altitude so finds it can perform at a more intense level for longer periods due to the richer air, its like adding premium fuel to a car.
By returning to early, the body (heart and lungs) will return to there normal state as they dont need to cope with the thinner air.

ah ok i see, so the body realises it's getting decent air levels again and isn't in 'high altitude mode'? if that makes sense lol

It was Barrera's distractions-stamina issues, wife divorce, medical clearances, flying from Big Bear, CA to Texas during training, before the fight, that led to his loss.

The air is not thinner at high altitude. The only thing that varies is the partial pressure of oxygen which affects how much oxygen can get absorbed by the hemoglobin in your erythrocytes(red blood cells). Look up an Oxygen disassociation curve to see how at high temp, high acidity levels in your blood(low ph) and at high altitudes how the body copes with the lower partial pressure of O2.

Your body becomes efficient at using less oxygen to give it energy so when you're training your ass off it can improve your lung capacity and become more effiecent at oxygen delivery so when you leave high altitude you're body it able to feed more oxygen to your muscles thus giving you more stamina.

    Canelo has no chance.

Floyd won't be tired or weight-drained, he has the advantage in reach. And most importantly Floyd has much more experience against world-class opposition.

For a car that doesn't need it, premium fuel does nothing but lighten your wallet.

It increases epo and red blood cell count.Conte touched on the topic when nonito donaire was simulating high altitudes with an oxygen mask/device.Similar to the chamber Marquez used in 24/7

    Interesting theory.

I think the fight will be competitive til Canelo gases at which point Floyd will proceed to kick the **** out of him til Alvarez ' corner stops the fight.

I'll be interested to read this thread on Sunday.

This is why Oscar is "checking into" rehab :think and wont be at the fight

    This content is protected

, because he knows Canelo will lose, due to premature fatigue, from leaving high-altitude too early, and Oscar is behind the plot:smoke to sabotage canelo's stamina, cause Oscar wants Floyd to win, cause Oscar promotes Floyd too, and it makes business sense for Floyd to win, cause he only has about 5 fights left before retirememt and Oscar wants to "milk in" as much $$$$$$ from Floyd's fights, and then he can still make more $$$ from Canelo career for the next 10-15 years, cause Canelo is only 23 years old, and is the next generation.

and Canelo knows he's being taken advantage of, but is willing to go through these obstacles, so he can fight Floyd, and probably KO Floyd.

Any climber can tell you that the 7k ft altitude of the Big Bear training camp isn't nearly high enough to make any real difference in ones overall stamina. try 10k-12k ft, that's where you start to feel the harsh effects of high altitude.
