Remember when Canelo had major issues with his stamina? Since moving to 160 pounds all of sudden they are gone. It's not like hes turned into Aaron Pryor, but hes not sluggish and tired like he used to be. What is it? The Mexican beef giving him more juice? Not being drained increasing his strength and reserves? I'd say it's probably a combination of him being on some sort of PED. And hes finally fighting at a natural weight for him. Hes obviously a true Middleweight. And hes been busted for drugs.
I say his stamina has improved barely by one or two rounds . And who knows you could be right Although keep in mind he did gas out his first fight with golovkin It wasnt until his second fight with ggg that his gas tank improved
Look, we know he is a proven drug cheat so he will always be tainted. But let's try and be fair, Maybe it's just going up the weights, maybe he was always struggling to make weight and it effected him in the stamina department and now he hasn't got to really drain himself he is finding it a little easier and also pacing himself better. But we all know what we are all really thinking. And this is what happens when you cheat, nobody really gives you the benefit of the doubt anymore and Canelo and his fans can't complain.
He stopped draining himself and is fighting at his natural weight. He was done with 154 after Floyd and really can't stay at 160 for too long. He is too thick and should be at 168 or 175.
Doesn’t canelo weigh somewhere in the upper 190’s when he isn’t training? I remember reading somewhere he gets Chonky.
He had stamina issues with Jacobs and GGG. The announcers also mentioned that he didn't run much due to knee issues. I don't get why people don't attack his body more knowing this much. He's either roiding or he belonged at higher weight classes all along.
He clearly had issues in both Golovkin fights and against Jacobs as well. Even struggled with Smith because of his stamina. The only time Alvarez looked to have amazing stamina was when he fought Chavez. But that had a lot to do with Alvarez being so dominant that night. He was able to dictate the pace.
