Canelo's stamina sucks. Cotto will dominate 2nd half.

Cotto doesn't really have great stamina himself either. tired against Margarito,Floyd,Pac.

 

I think this boils down to how well Cotto handles the hand speed of alvarez and how well Alvarez handles the power of Cotto

I think this can be a shoot out early but Canelo might close up and try to counter and make this very tactical

Cotto may also do what he did vs Margarito and box and move and make the slow of foot Canelo chase and get tired and lead

I think Cotto has more ways to win and I think i give a slight edge to him here

 

That's what I'm expecting also consider Cotto's defense and movement ..Cotto should win this handidly

 

This will be the first proper opponent Cotto's faced since Trout though, a live dog.

 

Canelo will arguably be at his natural weight here and if he has fought valiantly before at drained weight, I think he could be frightening with little to no weight restrictions. I'd be shocked if Canelo doesn't won this by either lopsided knockdown enabled decision or by late stoppage

 

Poor Trout left out of the party

 

Canelo's legacy ain't on the line. The boy has barely started shaving.

 

Cotto win quit before the 7th round.

 

Cotto was drained in the Pac fight... completely drained

 

Both have suspect stamina. Also will their be random blood testing for this fight.

 

Canelo's stamina issues are highly exaggerated. Either way, Cotto's style does not lend to test a boxer's stamina. He's neither a constant pressure fighter nor is he a full-time runner. This will be a nice back and forth type fight in which Canelo will more than likely come out the victor.
