    You know after he dropped his belt and from the s*** he received on social media and from former Mexican legends I truly thought that he'd never dare mention GGG again,strange how time heals old wounds,he's now talking about winning believe it or not and how there absolutely was talks with K2 but these these fights are tricky to negotiate lol,I reckon we gonna hear that year after year from those chumps.

    He should have dropped that belt as soon as he got it from Cotto if he was never going to fight GGG.

    He thought his team could "politic" that title like they did at 154 but the game has changed.

    If I know anything of canelo it's that he has pride. Sure, he might not want to fight GGG. Or maybe he's just marinating, we don't know.

    But I do know all this chicken talk is definitely annoying him. I saw a video of him trying to watch a fight and people kept screaming "Golovkin" over at him constantly.

    He'll end up fighting GGG from the public demand.

    Exactly. Trying to make money out of the MW belt with the false promise of fighting GGG next when he didn't have any intentions to do so until Sept 2017 was a baaad move.

    Yeah let's hope so,according to Eddie Hearne he said Canelo was dying to fight at middleweight and his killing himself to make 154 so he and Oscar maybe at odds.
    I've thought about this as Canelo in the ring is no coward and is an exciting fighter,I guess it doesn't really matter either way cause at the end of the day Canelo has let it all happen.
    The way Canelo and Golden Boy talk about the next opponent is not just disrespectful but I think it's based on the knowledge that they've got the judges,I mean maybe they're not expecting Liam Smith to KO Canelo but it's not impossible that Liam Smith could out box him for twelve rounds is it?Khan totally outboxed him for four rounds minimum and yet the judges never saw?
    Never heard Thurman lining up his next opponent when he was fighting Porter,same for Kovalev v Ward it's just not done in 50/50 fights unless one knows you're unlikely to lose?

    Of course he will fight him. Anyone with half a brain knows this. The idea seems to get more people to talk about the fight.

    Golovkin is in on it.. What a falkin coincidence Golovkin is also fighting a WW, who also happens to be British.. And Golovkin accepting step aside money, and the other time he stepped aside on a verbal agreement? Lol..

    Now all of a sudden GGG comes out and says he's only fighting a couple more years creating even more urgency, and rumors have it Canelo is fighting another British fighter this Dec.

    If GGG sells well in GB, we're looking at PPV US, and PPV GB for this fight.

    If I was Canelo I'd be more upset at being called a cowardly baby-nuts ducker, but I guess he's OK with that just as long as he doesn't have to get in the ring with GGG.
