    I read the article and Smith didn't make any excuses. He even said he would have lost either way.

    Did you see the 12 round when Smith tried to throw his money punch, the counter left hook but his arm hurt so much and he winced while throwing it.

    Right after that failed attempt, Smith acknowledge that Alvarez injured his arm and they both laughed at the situation.

    That's a high Boxing IQ right there...he took away his money punch.
